The role:
The role of a business development Executive is key to the smooth and efficient operation of our business. His/her main aim will be to drive business through:

  • Researching businesses, indivduals and industry trends to identift potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing Clients. 
  • Setting up the company’s culture and direction.
  • Creating a company environment that promotes and boosts performance and productivity.
  • Lead and motivate the team, in accordance with our Leadership and Company Principles
  • Create an environment where colleagues can do their best work.
  • Delegate tasks and solve problems swiftly.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to deal effectively with customer requirements and complaints
  • Identifying Opportunities: Identifying potential business opportunities and market trends
  • Lead Generation: Generating leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
  • Co-ordinates and controls the work of those within customer services departments.
  • Interacting with customers daily by answering their questions and directing them to the appropriate service for their needs.
  • Building relationships with clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
  • Creating customer loyalty programs to increase revenue and improve client retention
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients
  • Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients
  • Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends
  • Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
  • Managing and training a customer service team

Skills and Qualifications required:

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a transport administrator or similar role.
  • Extensive transport scheduling knowledge

Experience

  • Experience of managing customer service team

  • Good business awareness for achieving successful performance
  • Experience in excellent written and oral communication skills for managing business administration and personnel matters.
  • Experience of strong planning and organizational skills to run a streamlined operation.
  • Experience in identifying cost-effective and reliable sourcing connections.

Job type: Maintenance Supervisor

Occupation code: – 5319- Construction & Building not elsewhere classified-all jobs

Salary: The guaranteed salary shall vary from £25,000 to £30,000.00 per annum depending upon the candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and various repairs, ranging from plumbing to electrical tasks
  • Install and maintain household appliances and safety devices
  • Handle general carpentry, including shelf fitting, picture hanging, and lock installation
  • Execute emergency audits and undertake essential gardening duties
  • Engage with clients to determine project scope and timelines
  • Produce detailed quotes and manage invoices
  • Plumbing Skills: Installation and repair of taps, sinks, and toilets Leak troubleshooting and resolution
  • Electrical Expertise: Light bulb replacement, rewiring, and alarm system installation

Decorative Abilities:

  • Interior painting, surface sanding, and finishing touches on woodwork
  • Repairs and Maintenance Prowess
  • Assembly and installation of cabinets, doors, countertops, and a variety of flooring materials
  • Windrow frame repair
  • Gardening Know-how: Lawn mowing, hedge trimming, and general garden upkeep
  • Leadership Duties: Oversee daily operations, including all maintenance tasks
  • Lead and manage a maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks

Qualifications:

  • Proven supervisory skills
  • Experience with equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance techniques

  • 50% Location: on the road
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in general maintenance
  • Proficient in tiling, plumbing, painting, electrical work, and carpentry
  • Experience with external work including concreting, landscaping, and roofing
  • Must own or be willing to rent a van and tools
  • CSCS Card (preferred)
  • Ability to meet deadlines with efficiency

Job type: Design & Architecture Coordinator

Occupation code: – 3121- Architectural and Construction Planning

Salary: The guaranteed salary shall vary from £ 26,400 to £32,000.00 per annum depending upon the candidate.

Requirement:

  • Possession of a degree in architectural engineering is mandatory.
  • A minimum of a decade of engineering experience is required.
  • Significant expertise in projects such as home extensions, loft conversions, HMO, and new build homes is crucial.
  • A valid driver’s license is imperative.

Job Tasks

  • Preparing architectural plans, drawings, and details for contractors using computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
  • Working closely with construction teams to resolve technical issues during the build.
  • Conducting surveys of land and existing properties to produce existing condition drawings.
  • Managing the submission of plans to regulatory authorities for approval.
  • Ensuring completed works adhere to outlined specifications.
  • Participating in construction meetings and conducting site visits to monitor project advancements.

General maintenance handyman required on a self employed basis but will be on a fixed term permanent contract.

The job will involve plumbing, painting, joinery and general maintenance works in tenanted properties within Manchester City Centre.
